hey guys, 2 months ago i replaced my wheel bearing. . . and i feel as though it may be failling out already, it is making a grinding noise i believe, all that i notice though, i assume its from that because my brakes are good and i think i can hear grinding noise over there. on pass side, anything i should check on? possibly something else i already looked at brakes and stuff that could be rubbing. . nothing is by the way. . please help guys, i also posted 4 wheel drive is not disengaging correctly, could these be related? also when im in four the truck feels like the front is being pushed side to side, almost like one side is locking up then releaseing. locking up then releasing. might be related, but im assuming all of this is related. possibly.

Cv boot tore and the axle is packed with mud and gravel.

The cable going down to the shift fork might be rusted and not releasing all the way. I would grab the bladder under the battery and try to work it by hand to see if the cable has full throw. Only the pass side engages so that narrows that down a bit.

Sorry vacuum actuator. There will be a cable going from it down to the pass axle shaft. Make sure you can work that cable back and forth.

Yea. Remove the battery, 3 bolts removes the battery tray, and you have unrestricted access to the actuator neo is talking about.

Every hub assembly I ever bought or seen for sale (even the cheap china made ones from advanced) had at least a 1 year warranty.

I bet rockauto.com has hubs for your Blazer at a good price.

ya i did, and car quest replaced my part thank god, damn thing was rusted every square Inch of it. . . absolutely terrible. never again will i buy one from them. have decided though that the next time one goes out, which is prob driver side because i think it already maybe going out, if so then just starting to. but if it does im buying 2 brand news one's offline that are suppose to be a LOT better then OEM ones and have lifetime warranty's. for 239. also, how long do wheel bearings usually last anyway? and how long do they usually last with a torsion crank? rough estimates. thanks

I have about about 50,000 on my replacement hubs. They still look like new. The torsion crank has no efect on them.
I bought them online for about 100 bucks a peice shipped. You just have to buy from a good sorce. Just do your home work and just don't buy them for the cheepest price...
