and the only differences between my old truck and the new one are pretty much going froma slp "blowmaster" style cat back to a magnaflow and i now have an ext cab instead of a reg cab. let me be the first to tell you that my new truck in faster. that magnaflow compared to the blowmaster, my new one seems more powerful than my last one was wiht headers!!!. anyways, now to my question. what can i do to speed up my reaction time? i will post all pertent info in a minute as soon as i go and get a shower and get the time slips out of my truck.

start going just before the light goes from yellow to green. if you go at the right time you won't red light it because with your gearing and amount of torque it will take a bit of time to get that 3500+ pound truck moving. this is what i try to do when i go to IRP.

Holding my stall at 2000 I have to react when the last yellow comes on. If I stare at it, I'm late.

With a 1.191 reaction, I'd say you were leaving after the green came on. There is .5 second between each bulb. If you left at the same time on the last yellow, your r/t would be .691. Still late. Try leaving the very moment the last yellow lights.

Practice, practice, practice.
