New guy here. I have a question about these rims.
http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results.cfm?singlepart=1&partnumber=12498299

I am terrible on tire sizes. Right now I have the stock 15 in. alloys (the swirl looking ones). I know the ZQ-8s are 16 in. On the 15's I was thinking of a slightly smaller tire. The stock tire size is P205/75/R15. If the 75 is the diameter then I want like a /60/. I also want to know how wide of a tire I can put on these rims and if they are the same bolt pattern and everything.

both the rims have the same bolt pattern.
on the tire size it is this:
205-width of the tire
75 is the hight of the sidewall(75% of 205)
last number is rim size
those zq8 wheels are 16x8
i have 245/50/16 on mine with those wheels and the total combo is about 1.5 inches shorter than my stock 15 inch rims(same as the ones you have now) you can get 275/xx/16 on them but the wider you go the harder it is to shorten the hight of the tire.
275/50/16 will be a lot taller than 245/50/16. and wider.

I would go with a 225/50/16 on thoes rims. I think that would looks awesome

Stock ZQ8 tires are 235/55R16. Depending on how you want to go. . . If you want to keep the sidewall the same height, then you adjust the width 10 and the aspect ratio 5 the opposite way. So, to go with wider tires, you would go with 245/40R16 -- that would be wider tires and the same sidewall height.

Now, if you want to go with a different sidewall, you would just lower the aspect ratio. So, with the ZQ8 rims, you could go with 235/50R16 or 235/45R16 tires.

Well I would like to have some nice 18's like the ones on the Devious Customs Retro Colorado. I cant find it on the site but it was in the June 2005 issue of Sport truck. It was the artical where they took a Colorado front end and put it on a 1st gen s-10.

I don't know were somebody got a set of C6 rims around here so soon but there is a slick black late model SS Camaro around here sporting C6 rims. And it looks awesome with them on.They looked chrome or something and it made that car look REAL close to a vette rolling down the highway.I would like to see what a set would look like on my TA.Oh and this weekend I saw a hauler transporting new C6 ZO6 vettes.Man they look bad as hell close up in person. And the rims on them looked huge.

what year truck did you say you have?

. 98 and newer rims won't fit pre 96 for without have the center bored(97 if iffy). it's not real exspensive though, any good machine shop can do it.

Thats a lot of money for one rim!
Can anyone post up some badass 5-star rims (17 or 18)?
I want one big enough to show my brakes.
