I have been looking into both and i cant decide... i really like the clean look of the chrome bumpers along with a chrome grille... like this one...http://njsr.org/pics/albums/userpics/278.jpg

but i also like some of the bumper covers from godfather customs like the smooth cameo and the cameo with bumper lights...

To each their own, but for me I like the all chrome looking front end since it sets it off better IMO. My 01 Blazer is and all chrome front end with a bottom of the bumpter attached air dam!

i say go chrome!!! it looks sweet imo especially if u have the billet grilles and chrome grill surround like the blazer in the picture!

First gen, then go with the chrome.

go with a satin or brushed grilll insert or it'll get lost in the crome, but definatly go with the crome.

Even they look stupid a bra is good idea to protect your frontend from the elements. Just a warning though only use the bra for hyway running. If you leave them on all the time they'll messup you paint.

That chrome bumper looks like a toyota bumper conversion. I would go with a smoothed chrome bumper. I have seen them only in MiniTruckin magazines. They have no bolt holes/license plate spot, only holes for bumper lenses. Not to sure though, but this is what i was gonna get for my 1st gen along with the phantom grille. I think you can also get them with out the holes for bumper lenses.
