gas filler

shaving gas filler and moving it behind the taillight...Anyone every thought about doing this to a 1st gen?.... i would love to do it but from what i have heard by others its a pain...

that's a pretty **** slick way to hide your filler.... any links on a how to? the hinge mechanism is something i'd like to see more of

havent found a good how to yet... but from what i have noticed. most of the hinges are like cabinet hinges.... that have the pointy piece that goes in between the 2 wheels.... ust look at a old cabinet and u will see what im talkin about

well the 1st pic is actually a great setup it uses an actuator to push n pull the taillight in n out, the others like u said use little kitchen cabinet hinges which i guess will work but if your going to do a mod like this might as well not ghetto it.
