i know groundforce is decent for cars, but i think beltech is best for trucks. i still say 2" spindels, 1" springs in the front, 3" leads in the back with 1" blocks.

the reason it sounds to good to be true is becuase you will need new shocks for the front with that kit (which will jump the price up from 80-100 bucks) but its a good kit. BUT i would go with belltech if i were you.
and as ernie said there...the way to go is 2" spindles and 1" coils in the front (you will still need shocks, but you will have the option of going lower in the future) and the back the 3" blocks will be fine. you do not need new shocks will drop blocks...but you will need shocks if you do the drop leafs.
drop leafs ride softer than stock leafs..so they are really nice.
good luck with it all man

thanks for the input guys, ill prolly just keep with the stock height and wait till i can save up the extra few dollars and do it thr right way and get what i want instead of settleing for the cheaper alternative.

okay i know i poster this topic a long thime ago, but to i NEED to replace my shocks right now, or will the stock ones hold up for the 3/3 drop till i can save up for the ones i want, i wanna be able to drive up to the 1st day of school w/ a lowered truck, but wont have the money to get the shocks till school starts.

If the shocks bottomed, they'd just bust or beat out the rubber bushings.
I know NAPA's shock catalog lists extended and compressed lengths (overall) and travel. That'd give you a good idea how much travel would be left over.

lol im not into the whole lift a 2wd drive truck, but good try mrmidnight. I know its a good idea to change them while i got the truck apart. but money is the problem, i was hoping that with only lowering it 3 inches wouldnt bottom them out, but before i order anything im talking to tech support.

I Just Installed The Kit It Is Great And Later I Will Add Spindles And Rear Leafs. The Ride Is A Little Rough But Nothing Dangerous. Shocks Will Cure This Later
