Don't know about his wheels but Boyd sucks balls. He has a huge ego and has no reason to.
boyd doesn't have enough precut size options for me. I've tryed haveing a custom wheel made by boyd for a rod once and after 6 month a 3 sets of the wrong wheels i will NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY BOYDS.

i know im going off on a long shot here... but if they are flatter spokes... they could almost pass for the jesse james .30 wheels...

I don't think the wheels are Crager SS. The spoke shape and the center cap don't look like it to me, although that's not the best of views of the wheels. They might also be American Torque Thrust II. Overall, nice looking truck!

I thought they looked like Torque Thrust II's also. They look nice what ever they are.Boyd is a big asshole but his wheels are bad ass in my opinion. He don't even design them most of the time anyway. There was one episode that showed the real two guys who come up with most of the wheel concepts.I wouldn't mind having a set of his wheels. The ones Supercharged has on his S10 are some of the better looking ones in my opinion.I would love to have a set of 18 inch Smoothie II's like these for my TA.There is a red Formula Firebird around here locally with them and it looks *****in.In sun light they about blind your ass lol.http://www.sicgmtrucks.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1365&stc=1

Boyds wheels are not made by Boyd Coddington. Only Boyd Coddingtons wheel are made by his new shop. His old shop which was bought out under bankruptcy are all made overseas. If it doenst have Coddingtons name on it, there Boyds Wheels.
Now Coddingtom wheels are made to steel stamped specifaction allowances which is a little over double what a Billet wheels max specifactions are suppose to be. They are hard to balance and run out. Finishes are known to peel, flake and corrode cause Boyd is doing everything to get his old ass out of bankrupty. Sold most all the cars he had just to open the doors again under the Boyd Coddington name and is on COD for everrthing he does. Ask around an or search the net for Boyds, Coddingtons etc wheel problems and you'll find HOARDS of people whom would never do that again.
Even now Jeese James wheels are going through the same thing. But his is to keep up demand they've outsourced just like Boyd does with his. Too many people willing to pay god outrageous dollars to have eithers name on there stuff. Led to sub standard parts due to no control of quality. Every Tom **** got Harry is making these wheels!!

I have got a set of the "tuned" Boyds on my truck for about 2 months now. The wheels KICK ASS they never go without getting compliments and the biggest weight I put on them was I think a half ounce. Now to deal with them was a PITA and there were/are some issues with the way they pack the wheels insufficient to make it from Cali to the ol FLA but once that was resolved I am completely satisfied if you wanna see them and my truck just go to cardomain and look up "blackblazerx" btw the wifes SS is there too
