Disconnect the rear u-joint retainers (11mm) wrap tape around the caps so they don't fall off and you lose bearings. Put a pan under the tranny to catch any fluid that may come out. Pull drive shaft. Scooch out from under car, jump around like a happy gorilla. :p

yea i put the charger on second but before i put it on i had large indents in the fire blanket thing on the botto of the hood from the ac piping, the **** that goes over the fan shroud...n i dont think thats suppose to touch so i dunno i think theres something wrong wrong like my engine mount is twisted or some ****, ive never pulled the motor or anything so i cant figure it out...im kinda hopin its just my drive shaft holdin **** up but thats a stretch we just cant think whatelse couldve happened...n i called al from wynjammer n he said the bracket hasnt changed at all they are all identical n no one has had a single problem, i really think i might have messed something up but i dunno...i might just take it to my shop n be like hers so money fix the damn thing...im stumped

so your thincking because you lowered the truck your driveshaft is in a bind.???? you can get a spacer plate the moves the axel back on the leaf to recenter it. I'm not sure what they'er called.
what exactly is the hood hitting? the charger or the air ducting

yea ill see what i can do...im out of work at three, as long as my camera phone isnt bein stupid ill be able to post pics but i dunno it hasnt been lettin my send **** out..but um yea it seems like the chrager should be atleast level with the ac but its not its like 2-3 inches higher n my bracket is against the ac pullie so they rub, well not anymore but they did, i just got pissed n ran it, shot sparks for a minute but it fixed itself, i just need to be able to shut my hood now

I got to thincking about this. there are four bolts on the pinion as well as 4 u-joint retainer bolts. what four bolts are you trying to take off?

go get some PB blaster penatrating oil and hose them down. them take a 6 point box end wrench and put a short cheater on it. or if you have a 1/2" breaker with a 6 point socket. use the 6 points because a 12 point is just going to round the heads off.

if you dont have 6 points sears sells the 6 points or you can chase down the matco truck
