what wheels to go with

i will have the $ by the end of summer to buy wheeles i narrowed it down to weld's drag stars or the 1s with the round holes rear 15x10 front 15x5 or 1999 corvett wheeles the vett wheeles are $500 for wheeles and tires and the welds are about $500 with out tires im more into drag racing but i also need a nice looking wheele "feedback wanted"

is that 500ea. if that 500 a set you need to look real close at the rims they may be knockoffs.... I priced the weld forged and it should be more like 140-250 ea w/o tire. if your planing on driveing it on the street and your set on on the drag lights you need to get the forged and at least a 7" for the front. the 3s and 5s look cool, but they just weren't made for drivabilty and the nonforged are super soft and bend very easly.

if that's a new price you need to take a good look at what your buying. the cheapest Weld wheel you can get is the dragstar and they retail at 150-200bux each and those arn't forged. They are track only wheels
