import being key word. The truck section is on lockdown for the domestic manufacturers. Toyota makes reliable trucks, but for towing capacity and real truck work chevy, ford and dodge got it down. Although dodge sux at making transmissions.

it IS an ugly dakota. All mitsu did was put a different body style on a dakota chassis

Agree, IMHO the new dakotas are ugly. Basicaly all this truck is, is a Dakota with a different facia.
