I put a K&N filter on my carbed 2.8 last week...this sucker picked my fuel economy up pretty good!!

Before...i was getting 21.4 MPG on the highway and 19.7 city.
After....i just pulled in a 24.5 highway and 21 city!!

thats a pretty respectable increse with fuel prices being .92/liter

i picked up my gas mileage by drivin like an old man. but the K&N did give my 2.8 a boost. also helped out the newly acquired 4.3.

Mine is not consistant either.I would say between 16 and 19 mpg right now.Im getting ready to do some work on it in the next 4 days so we will see if it gets any better.

Hey, got a little opinion here. I bought a fram toughguard filter, and absolutely love it. Honestly it feels like my k&n, and it was less than 10 dollars. Try it first, if you dont like it, throw in a k&n.
