I never really felt an increase in power so I had it dynoed today to see what was goin on. It was a mustang dyno and my max HP was 149!!!! It leaned out real bad, 15.9:1 at 5200 rpm's. I don't know what is going on but it had more power without the blower. THe only thing I can think of is that the programmer was bad or something because it is getting boost(My gauge after the dyno run peaked at 8psi). I only had him do one pull because of the extremely lean ratio, but I know that the HP measurement is correct because the "ass dyno" doesnt feel anything. Could a bad programmer do this? Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

personally id check the fuel system, check the injectors n what not...ya never know..your fuel filter coulda let some **** into the injectors, theres always a possibility of co-winkie-dink ya know...but there doesnt seem to be any real reason why it would just flake out n go that lean. yes obviously your shoving a bunch more air n there so it will be slightly leaner but i dunno

Talked with AL for awhile and he suggested putting the programming back to stock and try again. I did and took it for a drive and with it programmed stock it ran the same so we concluded its a bad programmer. Al is a good guy, he is going to do what ever it takes to make it right. I can only imagine calling powerdyne or vortec and hearing there response. They would probably try to blame it on you. I trust that he will take care of it!

Best of luck man. I had problems with my programmer as well. It wouldn't install the tune, it would freeze up just before, at "Unlocking PCM, Do NOT Disturb". I called FastFlash and spoke to Tony who takes care of the Wynjammer stuff. He said to mail it to him and he'd fix it. I got it back last week, and when I hooked it up I noticed that a few thing where different. When I went to install the tune, It got to "Installing Tune 01" and it froze there. I let it sit like that for about 45 mins. and then unplugged it. When I drove the truck it was a night and day difference! Drove really well. Tune seemed to have installed (I think). I have yet to Dyno it and see exactly what's all happening.
Right now though it's running way too rich. Reason being, I beleive, that an O2 sensor in the exhaust came unplugged. This happened because I shaved my steps, and cut off the exhaust tips that where on the pipes. The hangers where welded to the tips, so the whole exhaust dropped down. I'm gonna see if I can take care of this new problem this week.

I just opted for the custom ECU. I don't feel like messing with that programmer anymore. I hope that solves the problem.

Oh ya. That's a good idea. Let us know how it turns out.
