multiple cylinder mis-fires...help me please!

I have a 96 S10 with a 4.3 and I am experiancing very bad mis-fires..heres what i have changed......
1.plugs
2.wires
3.cap
4.rotor
5.coil
6.fuel filter
7.the rear two o2 sensors

if anybody has a suggestion i would be greatful beyond words!

Is their a light show going on under your hood when its dark out and you rev the engine? (arching) You only have 2 02 sensors? Don't know because I have 3. Maybe its the one you haven't changed. Mass air flow sensor?.......Do you have a K&N filter? Bad timing sensor? It sounds like you have already done what I would have done. How many miles on it. Hey welcome to sic. Just tossing up ideas of what it may be. You should find out an answer here. Some of the guys have the technical service bulletins program and can look it up to see if it may be a documented problem. If not I'm sure somebody has come across your problem already and can point you in the right direction.

Rice is one thing. Imports are another. I will never own another american car again. I am loving my Nissan. Not a single problem. More than I can say about my GM experiences. American = ****.

i would never buy an import as you would never buy an american car again ... some guys are made to be GUAY.... American Cars Rule ... o yeah and would you by a 17 sec stock nissan or a 13 sec STOCK covette ( throwing numbers ) would be interesting whats the time of a stock 350z ya these cars are nice but heck american cars are a lot better exept for the majority of ford vehicules not all but most of it

ok enough off topic crap.

is it present all the time or just warm? test or change the ignition module what if any codes its throwing might help, include the ones that dont "sound" like they will relate sometimes they do.

aslos make sure all your wires are on firmly and not rubbing/crossing eachother. use the factory hangers

Why are you on a truck forum if you care so much about speed? I care about reliability, not speed.

Did you get the misfires before or after the ignition mods? If it started right after, you may want to check your wiring(timing may be an issue as well, try using a timing gun on it while it is idling)

check your spark plugs. i know you just replaced them but sometimes they can get cracked to where you cant see it. that happed to one of my new plugs. i found you have to be EXTREMLY carful when installing plugs on these trucks.


by the way....if you don't like ameican cars why the hell are you on a s-10 site??? import cars suck balls!!!
