OK I'm at the dealer a few days ago, and I know that the ZQ8 leafs are out of my range unless I go to the junkyard, but I was curious how much the GM dealership was going to charge me. I ask the guy at the desk how much they were going to cost, I give him my VIN, and he says $394.06 or something to that effect. So he suggests I go to a place called Madison spring. I was wondering if anyone else has had leaf springs custom made and if so, are they worth my while or should I just go with something like belltech or DJM?

i would just get some aftermarket lowering springs. if you are going to pay money and do the work you may as well lower it more than 2 inches.

Do peolple make custom fiberglass springs. My friend told me that the corvette had fiberglass springs. Would be much lighter.

I went to GM to price out some new rear swaybar endlinks for my Zq8 bar and they wanted $56 a peice!!!

I wasn't too impressed with the Belltech springs on my Blazer X but after I took the bumper off to put on the ECC rollpan (lost about 200lbs) they seem a little better. I had thought about going to Tampa Spring a local company but I just to decided to go with a 4 link.
