I just received my BS in Mechanical Engineering at UT at Chattanooga.
I start my new job on July 11th with the Department on Energy (DOE). Its at the Y-12 plant in Oak Ridge, TN............they design, test, manufacture and store nuclear weapons. Its the same place where the atomic bomb was made in the 40s. I will be working in the Engineering Technology and Development department and will be making about 3 times more than I was at Tecumseh Engines.
