Throttle body mod

Since being interested in my truck i have come across a bunch of people talking about a throttle body modification, can some one tell me what this is and how you do them

they refered to them as these

removing TB blade diffuser,TPS mod

this only applies to post '96 vehicles...post '96 tb's have an extra flange on the butterfly...some people take the blades out and grind the extra ones off....its hard to explain it without pictures, maby someone else will have one....

TPS mod

the tps mod (throttle position sensor) is when you take out the tps, and elongate the bolt holes on it so that you can turn it and adjust it...the tps is the sensor that tells the computer how much your pressing the gas pedal...this mod helps a lot on automatic transmmissions because it mades the tranny downshift quicker when you punch the gas....
