Gears?

Hey guys i want some gears for my 99 4.3 blazer. Is there a certain brand i should go with, i was thinking going with some 4.10 or 4.11 (am not sure witch one is the right one) I think there are some performance gears so i would go with those. My truck is automatic i am going to install gibson headers, k&n intake, ngk plugs, taloyor wires so i thought why not go for some gears. Let me know what gears you guys recommend.

Personally, I would go with a set of 3.73's. With 4.10's you will lose some of your highway ability.

do the 4.10's you will love them. they are perfect for the auto. at 70mph you will be at 2600RPM. with a mix of highway and city miles i get 190 miles to a tank instead of 200. my truck likes gas.

Yours probably has 3.42's now so a jump to 4.10's won't hurt your mileage very much at all.You will give up some top end speed ability but not enough to worry about.

4.10's. I switched back to 3.73's and regretted it ever since.

Keep your foot out of it!!!!! I have the same problem, but I usually get 250-280 miles per tank, sometimes better depending on how I feel.

yeah its actually city miles, highway miles, and hot rodding miles...i can get 10mpg with hot rodding miles...
