turbocharged 2.2L

Has anybody ever turbocharged a gas truck? I know turbos are normally used on cars and diesels, but i dont feel like dropping a bigger engine in my truck and i still want my 5spd/4cylinder fuel economy. Let me know what you think...

OH yeah, tons of people have turbocharged a 4 cyl. Myself, I am planing on turboing mine soon. Its relitivaly easy if you have a welder and about $1000.

Could anybody post some links of where to get on, I tried looking on the internet but found ones for cars or for the 4.3L engines. Thanks

There is a company who sells them but I can't remember the name.They also make superchargers for 4 bangers too.Ask LayItLow I think he had a friend who turboed a 4 banger.

www.turbos-10.com used to have the turbo kit but I think they went out of business.
