I just yanked some electric fans out of a subaru and plan on stickin them in my s-10 and removing the belt driven one...what do you guys think...and what other little things can I do (not that expensive) to squeez the most out of my 2.2?

I guess it depends on the cfm flow of the Subaru fans. But hey as long as they can keep the engine cool go for it.A decent intake would be a good start.Nothing fancy just enough to get more air in.And a good flowing exhaust or even a muffler would help some to.

the TPS Mod will give you a bit of throttle response, K&N Filter is the most important, and modify the stock air box and remove the little black box down by the battery and replace it with a spray paint can top. the intake is the most important mod you can do cheapest for power.

hey wolverine, the Tornado doesn't work, there is no reason the twist the air, and it doesn't make the air go in any faster. A cheap way to free up some HP would be to make a backyard intake, and use a K&N filter with it.

Do a search on the net on the tornado fuel saving rob you of cash thingy. You will find all the info you will need to know that it is a piece of junk. But it was a good question to bring up since you didn't know.Everyone has to learn some thing some were some time.

Tell me you're not referring to the marine blowers.

I think he is talking about e fans...the original (and very dead thread) was about the tornado intake insert.

It goes inside the air cleaner & spins the air to make a vortex (just like flushin a toliet). Here's a link to their infomercial.. http://www.tornado-fuelsaver.tv/?source=gg&camp=torn&grp=name&term=tornado%20car&gclid=CJ2urcC7_4cCFQs3SAodJ2JnGQ
