Spring Height ?

I have 99 sonoma zq8. Installed 2" spindles up front. I have clearances problems, so to resolve them i install a 1" belltech drop spring. To my understanding that would put me up .5" due to the fact the zq8 spring is 1.5" drop. Now my truck sits back at its factory height. Any have ideas why this would happen? Springs are positively sitting right in the pockets! Truck is also a v6 and the spring is for a v6.

ok...so its .5" higher than what you were hoping for?
when you installed the coils..did you make sure that the botom part of the coil was covering 1 of the drain holes in the LCA and not 2?
reason that i am sudgesting this, is cause when i took my truck from 4/6 to 5/6, it was sitting .5" too high because of the way the control arms are stamped. ill bet this is your problem. if you take it all back apart, you'll see exactly what i mean.

Ill go back and check that, but its off more than .5", its at the height before I installed my drop spindles.

im will amlost gaurentee you that this is your problem. like i said..it happened to me also, i took it back apart, and the end of the coil was not properly posistioned.
you'll see the 2 drain holes in the LCA at the most inward part..cover 1, and leave the other exposed.
