Just curious...but what all is involved in a v8 swap? besides motor mounts.

like: radiator..fans..tranny xmemeber...driveshafts...rear end.

I would love to run a mild 350/5spd, but i dont have much smarts on something liek this.

There is 2 conversion manual books I would like to recomend. I have both.
Jtr's @ http://www.v8s10.com/
and an ls1 conversion manual on cd @ http://www.v8s10s.com/

Both informative but still have to decided what fits for your application.
Some ammendments to there suggestions maybe be required.
You can get parts @ JTR's or @ this site

from what i have read... and heard from alot of people... because I will be swapping this summer is that

1) need electric fan.
2) need to hammer the firewall so hedders will fit(if using shorty i believe)
3) Mounts

with me already having a 4.3... the 700R4 tranny will bolt right up, The stock rear end will work UNLESS you plan to rally the **** out of it... then get bigger. also... If your truck/blazer is lowered, dont plan on the exhaust going out the back. It wont work. You will have to throw it out before the back wheels
