Amp and stock head unit installation

Im installing an amp in a 04 Grand Prix and ive ran into a problem. I installed a speaker level input adapter on the back of the stock unit to run the rcas to the amp. Only problem is i cant find the remote line off the stock head unit. Any body know what i can do? Thanks, B.J. Fisher

you need a keyswitched source . there is no real remote line off a stock deck .

RADIO SWITCH----yellow (+) --- at radio harness


tap that wire and use that for your remote line .

Alright man, i figured it was one of those wires. There was four, like brown green teal and yellow. didnt know which one. Thanks again for your help.

There was no yellow wire, turns out it was a gray one, but thanks for the help anyway
