i heard you can add as much as 35hp with these plugs!!!!!!!! i'm thinking about buying some and have them ceramic coated so the carbon will slide right off the end of the plug.

Man I think I heard the same thing... Well actually the guy at the import shop told me that I only needed to run 5 of those plugs then spray a 125 shot on top of them. For the sixth cylinder just don't put a plug in it.

HAHAHAHA....

I just shake my head anymore when I have to listen to a dumb ass at work swear they are the best damn thing they have ever done to their ride. When they ask why I'm shaking my head I just say no reason no reason at all.

is it just me or would 4 ground electrodes cause some shrouding?

This is good, but I don’t understand, shouldn’t your get 4 times the power since you have 4 sparks per cylinder?

I was stupid enough to actually buy them, but Bill advised me to go to a cooler running plug. Bought rapidfires. Bosch Plugs suck.

As to the misfire, is it because they run so hot they pre ignite?

Bosche +4's might be too much, haven't tried them. Tried rapidfires and didn't even last a year, more like 6months. I guess I run my truck too hard for those plugs. So went to O.E. AC Delco Platinum and went on them for almost two years. No problems whatsoever until the cap and rotor blew up on me. So changed everything and stuck to O.E. Luv 'em.

I use NGK's TR5s and are happy with them.

ain't those them things called plat 4s so you can use them efficently (a big word) in a 2.2? but if ya have the 4.3 you only need 4 of them, just plug the other 2 holes, it'll be ok

They were the factory plug in my BMW Z3. Totally different combustion chamber though.

Definitely a waste of money AND a bad plug design for our application.
