V8 or leave it?

Hi guys. Callin from Van. I got a bit of a riddle. I have an s-10 ext cab (1984) and it's engines going. Everyones tellin me to just slap a v8 into it. Aside from mounts and Rad, what other stuff can I expect to run into? The drivetrain is out of a 79 caprice. It's got a 3 speed auto. Right now I got the 4 banger with a 5 spd. I don't have too much cash so I was wondering. Should I do this or should I rebuild the 4 banger? I've pulled alot of engines so I don't mind the work. It's the "Oh crap, thats not right" that's gonna dent the wallet. Thanks for your time guys.

take it easy man...

expect to run into driveshaft length probs, and firewall clearance for the distributor....other than that, it should be pretty good. but i dunno, ive never done a v8 swap into an s10. I would love to do it on my '85!!
