i just bought a 2000 extreme v6 extended cab. i want to do a static drop, this is my daily drive and dont want to see any wheel gaps. i have 19inch rims. what kind of setup can i use to be low but still daily driver. i have the zq8 suspension. what should i get..i want to buy from belltech. any help is appreciated thanks guys.. what im looking for really is a total of a 3/4 or 4/5 drop.what do i need to add on to the zq8suspension to have a 3/4 or 4/5 stance. thanks.. i will send pics to someone that can help because it has a different front bumper and different sides..

use 2" spindles in the front, and 2" or 3" blocks in the rear, the zq8 is already lowered via springs

your going to need some Belltech 2" spindles (p/n: 2100) and some 3" angled blocks (p/n: 6202) but measure your truck how it sits now too see if the 3" blocks will make the truck look sagged, you might only need some 2" angled blocks (p/n: 6102)
this will give you an overal drop of about 3.5/4.5 compared to a stock s10. look at www.staticmadness.com (http://www.staticmadness.com) for some pics of diff. drops

Make sure you get an alignment asap, the spindles will throw the toe off pretty good and will chew up the inside of your tires. cut the bumpstop brackets off the rear. you do not need to shocks, your all set.

anymore questions, ask!!

oh and i should mention to check your pinion angle before hand...you still may need to put shims in with the blocks to get it right.

along with the pinion angle, make sure you wont have to shorten your driveshaft dropping it that low

i did 2 inch blocks on my 99 xtreme and it leveled it out but if your goin lower in the front i would go with 3 inch blocks

www.summitracing.com (http://www.summitracing.com) has good prices and free shipping i beleive....it cost me too much to buy from the US, so i just get my stuff threw any local auto parts store.

and the install is very very easy. my first drop (4/5) took me 5 hours total. spindles and blocks should be no more than 3 hrs tops.

but forsure go 2/3 or 2/2 (depending on how the truck sits now) xtremes look bad ass like this!

and dont forget that alignment!!

do i need to buy shims or just spindles and blocks? and is there a website i can check out or something on how to install spindles and blocks

belltech spindles come with picture instructions....and the blocks are very strait forward:cut the old u-bolts off, raise the axle enough to put the blocks in, bolt the axle back down with the new u-bolts that come with the blocks.

since you have an xcab truck, you need the angled blocks. usually you do not need to install shims with these blocks (they have 2* built into them) but check your pinion angle before you lower the truck and after you lower the truck. this will tell you if you need the shims.

Personaly, on my Xcab...i didnt need shims, just the angled blocks, and the truck doesnt vibrate at all. www.belltechcorp.com (http://www.belltechcorp.com)

pinion angle is basicly the angle of the differential's pinion in relation to the drive shaft (rear differential input shaft if you will)
Heres some good readings for ya: http://www.carcraft.com/howto/91758/
lol..i dont wanna get right into it myself, cause i have to go to work now! haha
