So I have an 2003 4.3 manual Xtreme and I want to know if there is a shift kit I could put on it or a new clutch, maby a stag two or something. I'm not sure what could be done or whats needed so if I could get some feedback it would help.

Auto trans? Get rid of torque management. A shift kit is okay but TM will override much of it.
Just don't do both.

True, I read manual first, but in the same sentence I read shift kit (which is for autos).
As far as a clutch goes, be real careful what you get. Your left leg will pay dearly for a strong clutch.

Your telling me, my old truck was like pushing on a brick wall. So would you know what to get or where to get it? Like a lighter fly and stage 2 clutch.

I did a Centerforce Stage 2 in my old 2.2L Xtreme. The clutch pedal didn't feel much harder than stock. It's a good clutch/pressure plate setup IMO.

CF360450- Centerforce stage 1 pressure plate- 30% more holding force than stock
CFT360450- Centerforce stage 2 pressure plate- 60% more holding force than stock
DF188450- Dual friction- 90% more holding force over stock (comes as a kit with PP & disc).
384188- Clutch disc- 9 1/8" with 1 1/8" input shaft with 10 splines
N1777- Throw out bearing
You will need the clutch disc for the stage 1 & 2 pressure plates and the DF comes with it because its a special disc.

It is generally accepted that both will flat destroy a stock trans. The reasoning seems okay, but I've never personally tried it. I intend on getting rid of TM first and seeing the results.
