I have a 1990 s10 with a 4.3L. I was wondering if the vortec heads will bolt up to my motor, and will i have to use the vortec intake as well?

1990 only had TBI available.
Short answer- vortec heads will bolt to the block.
Long answer- you will need a different intake manifold. You can't easily switch to the CSFI system, so my best advice would be to get an aftermarket 4bbl manifold from Edelbrock, and use a TBI adapter plate to mount your TBI unit on it.
Edit- By the term 'Vortec heads" I'm assuming you mean the 96+ ones. The 92-95 'Vortec' heads on the CPI engine will bolt up just fine. They are a good upgrade from TBI heads, but the 96+ are even better.
