I have a '00 s-10 ex-cab LS with 16" xtreme wheels and 235/55/16" tires and I was wondering how low I could go in the front without my tires rubbing or scraping anything?
I was thinking of going 3" (spindles/coils) but I have seen some trucks around with a 4" drop that look like they don't have problems. I want to go as low as possible. thanks

you shouldnt have any problems with a 4 inch drop with that tire size. good luck on it!

You should be fine with 4 inches up front. That's what I had on my '96. The only problems with rubbing was at full lock turn, and it may rub the top of the wheel well if you go over a big bump too fast. Go the extra inch, you'll be glad you did.

yeah, as they said...with 16" wheels you shouldnt have any problems going 4" in front. if you decide to get bigger wheels, then yes, you may just begin to rub...
