I picked up a diagnostic program this weekend that works on all OBDII vehicles for only $150. I had to buy an adapter cable that cost $30 too, but still seems like a pretty good deal. It reads trouble codes in plain english and can also clear them (awesome in NJ where they only check for codes during inspection). It also does data logging so you can see exactly what is going on while you are driving. It is pretty cool, but there are a few down sides to it. You definately need a laptop if you want to do anything besides read trouble codes. When it logs data you can save it but it goes right to excel as a table of numbers. Not too big a deal once you learn how to graph in excel which is really easy. Still think it is a good deal considering that you will probably spend that much money going somewhere to get your truck looked at when there is something wrong. It is also a good way to keep from getting screwed if you do take it in for service since you will know what is wrong before you get there. Anyway check it out at www.BowserElectronics.com
Let me know what you think of it, I haven't played with it too much yet.
