Is there anyway to modify the kit or do something to get more air into it, like a ram air kind of method, food for thought.

um just take off the whole thing and just leave the throttle body cover with a panty hose over it

I done it and it only makes a diffrence between 60-80mph. Its not worth the holes and stuff you will have to cut.

i got the FIPK2 intake as well and i think the only way to modify it would be purely cosmetic, maybe throw a custom intake pipe in or just paint the K&N one. I used to think the Tornado would help but from helpful members of this site i found out that was bull. Good luck.
