no i meant literally your use hand to rub the mineral spirits on the sap. or gently use 100% terry cloth. mineral spirits you can pick it up at any hardware store or places like wal-mart. gently work it in the trouble spots with your hand, should dissolve it, rinse, dry, wax.

what kind of sap remover did you try? did you use like Bug Ashpalt...the one in the kinda green can...never used it...but i'm curious because you said it made it worse...

thanks jrod

i used Turtlewax- Bug & Tar Remover and instead of removing the sap it turned it white. I have a brown truck so it made it look like i had permanent bird poop

use goo gone to take care of any exsess and wash it with hot water and dawn(dish soap with remove wax so only use it for a deep cleaning) For really bad spots u can use lighter fluid but dont let it set on the paint cause it may damage the clear coat.GM really went cheap with the paint in the last few year so Don't use rubbing compounds on your paint because your clear isn't thick enough and you may rub through to the color.
After you clean all the sap off hand wax the entire truck truck with mequires cleaner wax and follow with a good carnuba every 6 weeks or so depending on the weather in your area to keep sap from sticking in the future.

REMOVES WITHOUT SCOURING---THAT OTHER STUFF HAS OILS IN IT.LATER
