I wonder if it's actually a high pitched squeal from a hanger rubbing something.

What kind of tip is it?

tell you the truth i'm not to sure of the kind.. it's a dual. 1 in 2 out. i'm thinking there is air excaping from the connection where i had to screw them together... I tried sealing it but it melted and i got something on it now that is working some what but you still get it a little. is there anyhting in paticular that i could use to seal it or should i just try different things until i find one that works?

Probably needs to be welded or at the least clamped with a muffler clamp.

i could be air rushing real fast by a rough piece of metal that comes from mass production, like it was never sanded down on the inside, you should be able to fix it with a dremel tool.

is the tip from the system (if you have one) or is a tip that you place on a stock exhaust?

Be sure to visually inspect it with a flashlight, and make sure it is smooth

it's for a stock and i grinded it down a bit, not extremely smooth but it works... i dono if it was the lip or what becasue i resealed the back and now i don't get the noise. can't afford a new exaust yet due to colege this month but there is one going to be added
