is their anything i can do to make running nitrous on low octane safe and work well?

Size your nitrous pill about 8 sizes lower than recommended by the mfg. and move up from there.

Better rich and safe than lean and sorry. Really not worth it though.

alright, i know that your not supposed to do it, its just gas prices are outrageous, and i just dont want to have to go put a tank of premium in everytime i wanna run nitrous. BUT. If i run 87 octane all the time can i just put in 2 to 4 gallons of 100 or 110 octane to raise the octane level enough to run fine.

One of the main reasons for running high octane is to prevent detonation. This can also be achieved by retarding the timing. However, pulling too much timing is going to decrease horsepower. You want to find the balance. You want to run on the verge of detonation but right under. This will give you the most horsepower.
