That's right, let's see some dyno-runs for those that have them. Pics would be good, but not necessary. Be ready to support the figures you post -- no BS, please!
I'll start:
My last dyno run was the Summer of 2002. Performance mods in place were:
K&N FIPKII (modified install)
Granatelli Mass-Air-Flow sensor
Powerdyne S/C @ 7 psi
Flex-a-Lite Black Magic #60 electric fan
MSD Superconductor 8.5 mm spark plug wires
MSD 6BTM Ignition
Hypertech Power-Programmed
Hypertech 160° thermostat
Dynomax Super Turbo cat-back exhaust
RWHP: 221.3
RWTQ: 262.6
Since then I have done a few more mods:
Supercharger is now running 9 psi
TPS Sensitivity Adjustment
Vararam Velocity Stack
CFM-Technologies high-flow throttle blade
EGR restrictor
Performance Distributors Dyna Mod Ignition Module
Perma-Cool oil cooler and filter relocation kit
Crane Cams Gold Race full-roller rocker arms
Edelbrock TES Headers/Y-pipe (with Jet Hot ceramic coating)
Hollowed-out Catalytic Converter (it clogged, and I didn't have the $ to fix it)
Upgraded muffler to a Dynomax Ultra Flow
It should be good for around 280 rwhp and 320 rwtq (maybe more, maybe less) -- I'm going to be getting another dyno run soon, so I'll post those results when I do!

Those were in late June. Should be 'bout 10% higher on both now.

Lets try that.
Much better. The nitrous was a 100 shot and I'm at 125 now. Non-nitrous would be higher due to mods since then.

Ok -- good, I thought I was going blind. . . Glad to see that you noticed it too!

The upload only allows a little under a 40kb picture. That's gonna be real small. We need to up it to around a 100.

So far my rwhp numbers are 232.45 with a 75 shot of juice. I haven't dynoed it with a 100 shot. I didn't have headers nor my AEM intake when I made this pull. I didn't get any torque numbers because it was a "quarter mile sprint" they told me that I would run a 15.4. Well I took it to the track and pulled a 14.91 or 14.94 with a 75 shot. I can't remember which.
I don't have a pic of the graph because I don't have a digital but if you guys really want one for proof then I can borrow my buddies digital. I think most of you guys have been with me throughout this whole deal. I know you have Sparky and you too Supercharged. Oh yeah and I can't leave out Max and OBI.
8000hp, bone stock. Ran it on Creamed Corn instead of gas!

IAT was 90*F
Baro was 29.30 in.Hg.
Vapor was .25 in.Hg.

im on street tires, and i wish i could get it to hook. it spins, but still pulls really hard. like it will sit u back in the seat, and feel like a really hard pull, eventhough its spinning.

There must be sumpin wrong with my setup. With a 6 psi Wynjammer, JBA shorties, 160 'stat, Hooker Aerochamber 1 in/2 out exhaust, my best was 210.:( This was after we put a couple of fans on it. My first two runs gave me around 190. Maybe someone can help me out by looking at my charts. If the problem is fuel, SAM, PLEASE HELP ME OUT! If you have a waiting list, please PUT ME ON IT!:D

Biggest thing I notice is it dies after 4500.
I always want WOT A/F ratio below 13-1. On spray I run it around 11-1 just to be safe. Kills a little power but no biggie.
Ck. my dyno charts at my cardomain site.

I agree with Sparky, richin that thing up to about 11.5:1

If i have an 89 would i be able to see my fuel ratio with one of these?
http://www.tbichips.com/WINALDL.htm
if not how? the only A/F gauges ive seen are little green lights that bounce around and seem worthless.

The range of non wide-band O2 sensors is very narrow. Hence the rich/lean indication only. To see actual a/f ratio requires a wide-band O2 sensor.

Would that make much of a difference, as in 10-20 hp? I think I should have about 230 rwhp with my current setup, right?

well i don't have a dyno sheet but there are 3 people with 4.3 s-10's that i know of that run around 14.7-15.0 and they are putting 130-145 down so i have to be somewhere in that range.

not to hijack this thread or anything, but is there a general baseline for RWHP numbers on each engine size and injection size. i.e. 4.3L TBI? Thanks

I'm pretty sure we have that info here. Somewhere.............

sorry for the delay i fell out of the loop. can i put a wide band O2 sensor on an 89? i was acutally thinking of getting one of those O2 simulators and plugging that in in place of mine, not to throw codes i figured.
o2 sim and a wideband are 2 diff things. I also beleieve you cannot run a simulator on an earlier TBI motor, due to the lack of downstream O2 sensors. THe upstream ones (before the cat) are the important ones. There has to be some way to wire in a wideband o2 sensor to the current 2 wire.

would this thing be able to show my fuel ratio? anyone ever used this? come to think of it i think if anything all that would show me is what my O2 sensor is reading and not being a wide band it would just be rich or lean.
That is a data logging program. Wouldnt do you much good unless you kept a laptop in your truck.

With a 100 shot of juice my best time was 14.72. Granted I didn't have any traction. My rwhp was around 260 I would guess. I didn't have very many mods then but I did have more then when I put down 232.45 rwhp spraying a 75 shot on a Mustang Dyno. It was actually a 76rwhp gain.

i know what it is i was just wondering if it would do me anygood with the narrow band O2 sensor i got.
