Ok So with all the painting talk out there, how is this done??

I mean Im not stupid prep, prime, and paint - but what paint do I use? Isnt there a specific interrior paint to use or just straight rattle can......

If there is a specific kind where do I find this mystery paint because my ****s going to be white/blue

i used Krylon when i did mine and it worked great. krylon also makes a line called "fusion" which is specifically for plastic. i have heard very good things about this.

so basically, sand, prime, paint, clear coat if wanted

okay heres what i do, clean parts, spray with duplicolor adhesion promoter, and then spray within 5 minutes with any color duplicolor engine enamel. it looks good and holds up strong. and will last up to 1200 degrees even tho then ull be dead lol.

KRYLON!!!!! come on now

I''ll give to the paint... Kylon plastic is a good paint and yeah it sticks...well actually stains any plastic surface provided you prep it right, but looks like.....well... kylon.. It's brite and playfull just my 1 year old neices fisherprise wagon.

krylon fusion actually changes the pigment of the color you are painting. You dont even have to sand prep prime.... just clean the stuff really good to get all the crap off and then paint it.... you can do 2-3 coats to ensure a good finish. I changed my whole interior from blue to black this way and it looks awesome

i used that just the other day and you get alot deeped color if you prime it first.. i highly recommend primer.

i did what InFaxX did...about 12 coats of it...lasted for years until monday when my truck was broken into and the stereo was stolen i didn't have a single chip or nic in the finish now there are several minor scratches which i till isolate and touch up this weekend. mine is an incredibly glossy black on the original tan colored dash. i see other black s10s with the original dash and i'm like what the hell? looks weird...

I sanded mine smooth and hit it with a few light coats of high build primer (sanded between coats). As for paint, i just went to an automotive paint shop and had them make me a color matched spray bomb. Mine turned out really well!

i did mine once with the krylon but eventually it started flaking off which could mean i should have roughed it up, primed it, or it's jus' ****ty paint. I went back to the all light grey parts ... for now.
