They offer power pulleys, but does anyone know if they make a bit of difference?

WHOOO-EEEEEE.......gonna get some OPINIONS now!
hehe
Here's mine. Strictly from a drag race point of view. It's an acceleration contest. The engine has to accelerate from xxxx rpm's to xxxx rpms' 3 times (unless you're running a powerglide). By significantly slowing down the operating rpm's of the driven accessories in relation to the speed of the motor you increase rate of acceleration. That's where they really shine.
As far as HP increase? eh, not real sure of the claims, but I know they're good for .05-.15 in ET on most vehicles.
I've sure as heck spent more for less.

A friend of mine has ASP pulleys on his 2.2L and he says they made a bit of a differance. He also doesnt have a/c so im not sure if that helps either. From what i've read, STS performance under drive pulleys are a good deal and do help. It will be a future mod for my 2.2L in the near future.

not a bad bang for the buck. if you're running a system get overdrive pulleys and not underdrive (or dont use the alt. pulley because the alternator wont charge quick enough and you will notice horrible drain from the system.

that is true. and if you have a big sound system you will see it even more

I just have my factory sound system in mine. The under drives will work good with mine. I hear the belts they give with them (goodyear gatorback) are crap. Anyone know of any other good ones to use?

How many people do you useually need to get a decent GP price? Wonder if it would be worth while trying to see what kind of deal we can get for those of us that are considering getting a set.

Because you are reducing the constant parasitic drag of the accessories, you might see a small improvement in gas mileage.

Start a thread and see how much interest you get. We'll take it from there.

I don't think you will even see as much as 1/2 MPG improvement in your gas mileage. I'll post some mileage figures relative to my mods in another post tomorrow.
