i want to lower my 2000 sonoma more but i dont know how much it alreay is lowered. so if somebody could tell me what ive got right now that would be great. i would like to lower it at least 2'' more than it is now. so i dont know if i need to get a 3'' lower kit or what. that and what would be a good kit to go with once i do lower it. keep in mind im a poor collage student who is gettin married soon so i will defenalty be on a budget. thanks for your time.

zq8's are lowered about 1.5" all around, with coils and leafs, so to lower it more get spindles and blocks, check out www.summitracing.com (http://www.summitracing.com). If you have an extended cab, get angled blocks so the pinion angle isn't screwed up too much(be sure to get an alignment afterward!!)
edit: go with belltech, I hear they are very good products. Spindles sell for about $150 and blocks should sell around 80 (don't hold me to that one though)

^thats what im getting for my zq8. its and xcab. $150 for spindles (that dont screw up your suspension geometry like coils), and $30 blocks in the back.

If you were doing it on a budget, coils would work fine. Personally i would just stick wit belltech parts. Thats what i have and have never had a problem. DJM parts are CRAP!
