OK I did some searhing and couldnt find any S/C kits for the CPI S-10/blazers....I was wondering if any have done a custom S/C on the CPI. I was thinking of removing the A/C compressor..that sould be some room for a vortech V-1. I wouldnt really be scared to take on the project, I have built 2 S/C kits from scratch basically on my previous saturns over the years, one vortech, one powerdyne.
What about additional fuel with the CPI? Would a FMU work?
Any ideas or thoughts?

Having twisted my CPI every which way but loose, here's my thoughts.
I use the N.O.S. Ford EFI Dryshot kit on my CPI. The Ford kit bleeds pressure to the f.p. regulator to produce an increase (pics at my Cardomain site). In order to produce a 75 hp shot, I needed fuel pressure at 74 psi. That's a 14 psi increase over stock W.O.T. I'm up to a 125-135 shot now and fuel pressure jumps to 84-86 PSI.
Now, most V-6 SC kits seem to be 6-9 psi and produce 75-125 hp. So the CPI is easily capable of dumping the fuel. The stock regulator will see the boost in the intake and raise fuel pressure whatever psi boost it sees. If an FMU could be installed to kick it up the rest of the desired amount, yet let the stock regulator take over under idle/cruise conditions, you'd have the fueling problem solved.
As far as mounting, I'd stick the S/C where the alternator is and put the alternator where the air pump would have been.
That's where I'd start anyway.........

sparky, are the accesory positions the same for CPI's and TBI's? i am pretty sure they are. in that case, a wynjammer kit would work and i just so happen to be selling mine...

Yup, they're the same. Little bit of fabrication on the intake and some engineering on the fuel system and you'd be there on a CPI.

It could be done just approached like a TBI some what. They are both speed density so programming would be approached the same as TBI.But you would have the advantage over a TBI of having a dry intake. And to be honest the CPI intake is far superior in design and in flow over TBI and SFI.So I would be willing to bet that some very impressive numbers could be obtained from forced induction on a CPI.Look at it this way the 96 up vortec have the best flowing heads of all the 4.3's and yet it doesn't make any more power than the CPI and in some cases makes less.I would suggest calling Al at Wynjammers and seeing what he could do for one.Though with these two members here having troubles I almost say maybe not.But all brands have some troubles and the fact that his makes more power with less boost and is less expensive is a good choice. And he is always available if you have any problems which is almost unheard of today.I bet he could make a custom kit for a decent price.Or if it was me I would try to get the head unit, mounting brackets, intake tubing and get everything else myself. The tuning could be had via a custom flash. And Sparky had a good idea for the extra fuel needed. So it could be done.

OK so im just wondering, the stock fuel press. and speed density will see the boost and supply extra fuel? With out a FMU or anything else?
Sorry but the whole CPI thing is new to me, so I dont fully understand it yet.
Also thanks for the input everyone
I will probably do a custom vortec set up though:D I am a vortech fan from the last kit!

The fuel pressure regulator is inside the intake. So any addl. pressure in the intake (boost) will increase fuel pressure a corresponding amount. But, that's only gonna get you halfway there.
Addl. fuel is gonna be needed either with an fmu or a custom tune with a 2 bar MAP sensor.
