I'm sure most of you know about these plugs and a quick search only yielded some mixed feelings.
I can get them on discount from Adavnce Auto (friends as managers for the win!) and was considering them. They have some for my make/yr in stock. I currently have Delco's in right now. Would it benefit me to go to the NGK's or should I just stick with the Delco's?

If the delco's are old, then you would get a gain. If the delco's are new, then there isn't much point. Iridium plugs are generaly thought to be a better plug(than platnum), And could last longer than stock.

I personally don't spend the money on fancy plugs. I like the NGK's. Just standard U-groove.

They have served me well on many race and street cars. Very good about not fouling and even if you dump too much fuel on 'em, they self clean better than any plug I've seen.

I bought those iridiums and my truck killed them in 8k with msd, wether the msd did it or not I dont know but i know i have found the rapid fires are the best plugs for the 4.3

It's getting close to time to get some new plugs, would the rapid fires or the regular NGK's be the way to go?

1991 4.3 TBI with MSD box/coil, taylor wires (any suggestions on wires?) and a performance chip (running premium), and if it matters, a K&N FIPK and Bullet muffler with muffler shop pipes.

Thanks
