Manual to Electric mirrors

Has anyone converted there manual mirrors to electric?
If so would you do it again?

I did. The hardest part was removing the harness from the donor truck, and running it through the rubber conduit into the doors. I got an excellent deal though: both mirrors, harness and 2 control joysticks (in case one was bad) from a 93 Blazer for $70.

Finding a donor with all the parts at a junkyard would be your cheapest option. The stock mirrors on 1st gens adjust just by physically moving the mirror itself on the outside of the truck, do the 2nd gens have adjuster sticks inside? If so, you'll probably want to get an interior panel from a truck with power mirrors to cover up the holes in the door panel.

Mine is a 1997 PU and the mirrors are outside adjust as well.
