What would you recomend that I buy for an air intake K&N generation ll air intake or brutte force air induction sysytem. What one will give me more power? What one will sound better?
Thanks,

Just pick which ever one is cheaper and has a heat shield. There will not be any differences between them as far as gains.Just make sure it has a heat shield to keep the under hood temps away from the intake air charge. If I was you I would get the Airaid. It is cheaper and has a heat shield to boot.http://www.sicgmtrucks.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1647&stc=1

I have a brute force. I like it but it was costly. Max brought up a good point though.

And the truth be told I bet dyno results would show you would get close to the same numbers as the kits do by just hacking the factory air box.You already have a heat shield with the stock box and it's right by the same air source. But who knows for sure.

i did leave most of the backside and bottom area on the box there just to act as a shield.....i might make one to go over the whole bottom cuz i'm sure i get some engine bay air in but works for me...
