So, after realizing that I have been loosing a lot of oil out of the pasenger side valve cover, I decided to see what the problem was. Holy crap. I do believe that this is the hardest valve cover EVER built to remove. Once I finally got my valve cover off, (took a 5lb slide hammer) I realized I had no gasket between the valve cover and the head? Wtf? Serously, who does this kind of crap? Sheesh

The newer silicone sealers actually seal better than gaskets when properly used. "Right Stuff" and 3M "Ulta-Black" are the 2 I use.

2.8 TBI valve covers are definitely no walk in the park. Especially if they've never been off.

Well, after tearing into it, found out that there were cork gaskets in there, but they were harder than hell. I scraped them off, and put my new fel-pro rubber gaskets on, bada bing, bada boom. Sheesh, there is nothing harder than pulling the valve covers on a 2.8
