Transmission ID

Ok, So I have a 700 R4 transmission, but have no Idea how to tell what year of vehicle it is out of. Anyone know how to find this? It is a rebuilt 700 R4 with corvette internals, corvette servo and a bored valve body. It has a 4 wire connector on the drivers side. If needed ill get some numbers, but I dont know where to look.
