well, that sub is 1500w peak and 750 RMS. ideally you'd want to push RMS power to each sub. Personally, I like to push a touch more and if not over done, wont harm the sub. if i were you i would get a 1000x2 amp
1000 meaning the watts and 2 meaning channel. then running the voice coils on the sub in paralell (+ to +, - to -) would cut it down to 500 watts per voice coil.
so basically, one channel on the amp would power 2 voice coils (1 full sub). make sure if you're going to be running 2000w you prepare for it. meaning, 0 gauge wire, a fuse that can handle however many amps, a capacitor (2 farad would be best) and probally a high output alternator (160?)
any other questions, post up.

good god man! i had 1 L7 running off a coustic 800 RMS amp and that was pretty damn loud! like Xxin faxX said you need to get the good quality stuff, i would look at 24K connectors depending on the quality of the rest of your system and some damn ear plugs! what do you have for the mids and highs?

ohh you lucky bastard! ive heard 2000 to a W7, its insane and i wasnt even in the car!
I would say a 100x1 and run them paralelled, more power to the sub

1000x1 would underpower 2 subs. need 500w per voice coil to push them both nicely.
Pralelled on the sub and the amp wouldnt underpower them

how can you run a 1 channel amp in paralell? and running an amp paralelled is bridging it...tom, you're even confusing me...but even if i am wrong (never) most likely the amp or the subs wouldnt be able to handle the resistance then.
