"multiple misfire"...aka juttery mess

so the other day i was driving put it into third and my truck started to shake and bogged out and died...so i stop started it back up ran fine. got to my buddys house, shut it down, and started it back up. the engine was shaking back and forth causing the whole truck to shake like crazy and my check engine light came on. ok, so i went and got the engine light checked..."multiple misfire"...thats fine, changed the plugs and wires, started her back up, nope still shakes like a crazy bastard. cant really figure it out. we are thinking its a coil-pak due to the fact that each coil pack controlls 2 cylinders, which if a coil-pak went that would lead to a MULTIPLE(two) misfire, so as of today i went home after work and changed both coil-paks. but of course the world loves me and that didnt work still shakes like a wet dog. is there anything anyone else could think of that would cause this problem. since its not the coil-paks i have noooo clue what it could be possibly injectors clogged? im really lost on this guys...any help would be MUCH appreciated, thanks again guys...

at that point i would look at the fuel delivery, and pull the wires off the plugs just to see that they are sending sparks. but i do like all of the analogies, ie "crazy man", "wet dog" hehe
Really though if you can find someone with a 5 gas analyzer and see if its running rich, then incomplete combustion but your getting fuel, lean your not getting fuel. i think that is one of the best way to diagnose problems.

yea thats my last hope...its going to my shop hopefully today if they have time to take me. im on my last string. ive spent a total of 28 hours on this peice in the past 3 days. so now im running on basically no sleep so im giving up and letting the pros look at it....ill let ya'll know what the final out come is....

i know what you mean. im getting the code for #4 misfire. i am getting spark, so i think it may be a clogged injector. im taking all that **** apart now to check/clean the injectors and poppets. i too have spent the better part of a week work on this truck. by tomorrow ill have this done and ill let you know if it helped. good luck to you tho
