Pretty funny... I was following my sister on the highway here and she was driving her neon. It's an auto SXT... nothing special... but figured I would post it up. WE raced once from a roll and I walked her pretty good. Then once from a Stop. Lets just say the 250+ TQ owned her off the line...LOL. Wound up beating her by like 5 cars...Haha.

yeah true. I was looking under the hood today at the factory Exhuast manifolds and they look like they would be a PAIN to get out and put headers on. But... I would like JBA headers and catback for my next mods. I would be happy if I could get her to run about mid 15's with bolt-on's. Might not happen... but ya never know...lol.

Headers w/duals, gears (3.73 or 4.10) and a stall converter alone will get you to mid 15's.

Out of curiosity... what do you think a 4wd Blazer would run with the 4.3 and my 2 mods? Intake and TB spacer.
Mid 16's??

Mid to high 16's if you manually shift it.
Eh, Id say mid to low 16's. Hell, if you can eat a Peon, there aint any shame in that win.

I think the 4WD will slow it about .3-.4 over a 2WD

wow... is it really that big a difference between the 2? I know the 4wd is a little slower... But almost 1/2 a second?....Eww... that sucks...lol.
But yeah... I walked the Neon pretty good.

Well, figure 100 lbs. costs you a tenth. 4WD adds 3-400 lbs.
