...anyone tried the "flour" trick to get the micro scratches out of polished aluminum?
If you have, do you just put some flour on your fingers and rub it into the wheel? I tried the latex glove thing with some billet polish and it worked good, but im experimenting a few diff. things on each of my wheels to see what gets the best results.

Thanks!

i have no idea how it works. hahahah
but im extremly picky on how my wheels look and i dont want any little scratches in them at all. they are getting sealed after i polish them so i wont have to worry about it for a while, so i want them absolutly perfect

no man i have never heard of either of the two things you just talked about....ive never owned aluminum wheels though. think any of that would do any good on chrome? anyway be sure to post up what works best. good luck

You can use the flour technique with any aluminum polish to increase the abrasivness slightly. I have used it with a cream polish by sprinkling some flour onto the cream after speading it on the surface to be polished. About all it will do is remove swirl marks, it still isn't abrasive enough to remove much in the way of scratches. It will put a nice shine on smooth aluminum though! You can also buy rouge in various grits that will accomplish the same thing.
