Will a newer 4.3 from a 94&up S10 Swap into my 93 S10 blazer?
Yup, you just have to get the wiring from the 94 and up as well.

Bit more to it than just the wiring, but it depends on the motor. Give us an exact year and motor type, and we can offer more advice!
If you're not sure of the motor type, refer to our V6 FAQ: http://www.s10planet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=876
I wasnt gonna get into the complexitys of swapping the motors, just sayin that the wiring wouldnt just hook up.

if you are swapping a motor from a 94 to the 93 it should not be that bad unless you are going to CPI from TBI this swap is a little more complacted but can be done i put a 94 4.3 in a 89 blazer with the CPI and 4L60-E tranny i ended up wiring the whole thing like it was a 94

Im really haven't found a certain year model engine yet, but i am looking for one with a balanced shaft. I've been finding some fair deals around where I live and would like to rebuild a motor to swap into my blazer. Im pushing 170,000miles on the origanal and have been considering a v8 swap or just another 4.3.

It's not a balanced shaft but rather has a "balance shaft" in the top of the block to cancel out inherent vibrations. Not the motor of choice as cam selection is limited and they are VERY expensive as compared to a regular 4.3 cam.
Given a choice, get a non balance-shaft engine.
