View Full Version : SLP Rockers
I just got an SLP Rocker kit for my 2001 Sonoma. The only thing is it didn't come with the instructions, so I'll be going in blind so to speak. Are there any things in the install that wouldn't be straightforward?

What kind of rockers are they? Are they a direct replacement with 8mm bolts? are they for 3/8" studs? I'd be very surprised if it would be a direct swap...
Do you have a link for the rockers with the info, or please provide some more, it's hard to give advice otherwise.
I believe 2000+ 4.3s already have a roller fulcrum
type rocker from the factory. Not sure if you will be
able to use them because they are mounted different.

I should have given more info, but I got an SLP bolt on kit. Questions I have are like how hard should I torque down the rockers, should I lube them in motor oil before I put them in, etc.

22 ft/lbs for the rocker bolt. I didn't oil my rollers when I put them in.
