i wrote a question a while ago about a bad missfire above 5000RPM. well i replaced ALL the ignition and couldn't get rid of it. so i gave up and learned to get over it. now, a couple months later it misses through out the entire rpm range. cant even drive it. i still have the stock poppet nozzels and am thinking that is what is wrong. either that or the fuel pressure regulator. the thing is it never has gone rich when it misses (a/f guage). i just want to make sure before i drop 300 bucks on upgraded poppets/injectors or whatever they are.

I was poking around and fround this post. Can't believe it didn't get a reply (I musta' missed it).

still trying to figure it out. it has fuel pressure 65psi at idle. have replaced every single ignition component exept the ignition module. i think it is either the poppets or the ignition module. both are expensive. i don't see how it could be the factory rev limiter because i have that crane tuner and it is what set the shift points for 5500 so i would think that it would have bumped the rev limiter up too. it is really to friggin cold to mess with the truck too much right now but i will gladly take any ideas
